Tiffany Chen

Tiffany Chen is part of Class of 2010 in Columbia College studying political science and East Asian Languages and Cultures and has extensive experience working with the Columbia community as well as outside performers.

Tiffany Chen, a resident of Long Island in New York, is a rising senior majoring in Political Science and concentrating in East Asian Languages & Culture. Currently, she is the Social Chair and the fearless Director of CultureSHOCK, the largest AAA event of the year. Besides trying to round up awkward Columbia students for fun APIA events, Tiffany hopes to reach out to other cultural and political groups on campus on a social basis to break down barriers and give space for serious discussion.

Outside of AAA, Tiffany holds a delicate balancing act of ABC Rep, Vice Chair of the Senior Fund, CSC Senior Advisor, studying for the LSATs, internships, and, of course, culture & fashion shows. In previous years, she has been very involved in CSC as the President and KSA as the Co-Art Director for the culture show. When not doing any of those particular activities, Tiffany spends an inhumane amount of time over fashion and blogs, shooting with her beloved digital SLR, indulging in degustation and attending the occasional jazz club.
